Just read he's passed away aged 72. Never forgave him for kicking us to death in the cheats CC final in 1965. He even kicked one from his own half. Good player though and deadly with the boot. RIP

I, he was a gud'un, kicked that goal from just in front of us from over the half way line near the touch, as you say, Murphy's (cheat) final 1966, thats when hookers meant something in the game and ours Colin Clark, was suspended, first full house at Wembley for Rugby League.
Anyway digressing, RIP Len
