The Wigan Warriors are today throwing their collective weight behind the Emma Hoolin appeal to help 4 year old Emma raise the £210,000 needed to treat her rare form of cancer.
An unnamed Warriors Players has decided to donate the proceeds from the sale of his 2011 Carnegie Challenge Cup medal to the appeal. The medal was awarded to the player following the Warriors 28 - 18 victory over Leeds Rhino's at Wembley Stadium in August.
Emma suffers from High Risk Neuroblastoma which is a cancer predominantly found in young children under 5 and has been undergoing aggressive treatment at Manchester Royal Children's Hospital since February 2011.
To have the best chance of survival, Emma needs to have treatment only available in the USA at a cost of over £210,000.
The medal is available via the Warriors Foundation eBay site and you can bid on the medal [by clicking here].
The auction will end on Friday 28th Oct at 12noon and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Emma Hoolin Appeal. For further details about Emma, please visit the appeal website at www.emmahoolin.co.uk.

Warriors Support Emma Hoolin Campaign
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Brilliant gestures but I've said this before and I'm sorry
but I'm saying it again.
A devastated family trying to quickly raise funds for life
saving treatment for their child, and soon we will be raising millions once again for children-in-need,
with no clear indication of where the money goes.
This is a child in desperate need....why can't they apply
for any of this money?.
