International rugby league returns this Sunday when England Academy face the Australian Institute of Sport at Leigh Sports Village Stadium (KO 3pm).

Following the 2011 Gillette Four Nations, England Academy will looking to avenge the senior teams 30 - 8 loss in the final against Australia and maintain the 100% win record of England teams at LSV Stadium. The Academy won a thrilling test series 2 - 0 against Australia SSRL last winter at the Sports Village and with the squad featuring a host of exciting youngsters from Super League clubs, including Wigan's George Williams and Connor Farrell, a fantastic game is expected.

Tickets for the match are available the ticket office, online at www.leighsportsvillage.co.uk/tickets or by calling 01942 487888 . Price: Adults £3, concessions £2. On matchday, cash turnstiles will be in operation. For ticketing enquiries please contact 01942 487888 .

The AIS side thrashed Wales 36-0 in a rain soaked game.

The match report I read said Wales tried hard but were unable to break the try line :conf:

I hope you enjoyed the game 2 eyed,it seems like it was a very close game.Glad the Aussies won though. :)

We did but we deliberately fielded an U17s team v the older AIS with an eye on the future. George Williams is still only 16 and played 7. Williams / Hampshire have the potential to be great Wigan halfback pairing.
