Wigan RLFC Android app

Thinking of getting a new phone, a Samsung Europa. Just wondering if Wigan have brought out an android app for smartphones.

Hi Jeff

No they haven't, yet. I emailed the club earlier in the season about this subject and how, in these technological days, such an app would be fantastic.

I got a reply from Simon Collinson, the marketing manager and he said it's something that they're looking at, but there's nothing finalised yet. I wouldn't expect one any time soon.
It's a pity really, as I bet it could be pretty good, if they do it properly.

Email him back and tell him if they need a company to do this then 29wes28 works for a telecommunications company that do these apps and if im correct they are launching one of their own soon to compete with skype for cheap/free calls. would be really good to have a warriors one that was faster with the news than the warriors website is.

had a look on android market for rugby league apps and found one for nottingham outlaws arlfc

c`mon wigan get your fingers out and give us an app!!

There's nothing... On WP7/Android or Iphone. Your best bet is the generic BBC/Sky Sports one's. Oh, and Twitter!

I must say, i'm surprised no one out of the RL/Wigan community has developed one off their own back, i for sure would pay 99p for something that worked.
