Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

The best thing, is that if you book the ticket online, you have to pay a £1.50 booking fee.

Then you get the choice of either your ticket via email, or own collection from the ground. Both of these costs £1.75.

so for every ticket ordered you have to pay £3.25 admin fees, and this is for every ticket.

I referred to the comment that the ticket prices were the same.

but not for a Salford friendly
Also the car parking was free last night but Salford want £5
Still feel ripped off from THURSDAYs match and though I only live down the road from salfords new ground will not turn up to a friendly match again, unless we get some guarantees that more half the side is from the 1st TEAM.
ALSO THE PRICE AT THE TURNSTILLES REFLECTS THAT

The gate takings from Lockers Testimonial were split THREE ways between local Wigan Charities, all with roots in this immediate area, and which he himself has nominated, during his year of fund raising events.

So in context, don't think "ripped off" is the right expression.

A soccer friend of mine went to Jamie Carragher's (L'pool) Testimonial and was charged £25 entry ! Presumably, again, Charities benefitted from this.

Nezza, when I want to contribute to a charity (which I do),
I don't want to be steamrolled, or made to feel guilty about not wanting to pay anymore when I want to watch a rugby match
Ripped off, are two very good words considering the quality of entertainment that was/is put in front of you! And, Thursdays match was premeditated to the extreme.

I would think so! They are only getting around 2000 in 12000 capacity stadium.
