Re: Odsal sold to the RFL
Wakefield is a bad example... it's a lost cause Belle Vue. With Bradford you have a massive area for redevelopment... raise the ground up, build a 40,000 seater stadium, add a retail and leisure park... it's a winner. We get a rugby league HQ stadium and will be owners/landlords for retail developments. Bradford City FC may join in the fun. There are the fans available in Bradford all they need is some success thats all.

When do you envisage 40,000 paying customers in that ground irrespective of any development?ancientnloyal wrote:build a 40,000 seater stadium, add a retail and leisure park... it's a winner.
The RFL would have been far better off spending that amount used to bail out Bradford on the equivalent in Euromillions tickets - more chance of a better return for the money

I noticed the Bulls Chairman is quoted as saying "this has secured our immediate future"does this mean then the Bulls have only a short lease agreement, unlike our 99 years,I may be wrong but it seems fishy to me.
