Joel makes his RU debut this weekend

Joel Tomkins is set to make his Saracens debut after being named at outside centre for the LV= Cup clash with Worcester on Sunday.

The former Wigan rugby league star, who switched codes in November, will make take his first-team bow in the number 13 shirt at Vicarage Road.

Jamie George will captain a much-changed Sarries side that also includes a first-team debut for second row Eoin Sherriff and a first appearance of the season for Michael Tagicakibau.

Oh Dear! With all that inexperience in the side I hope Joel's lack of RU nous isn't exposed too seriously to discredit him (and hence RL players) on debut
