Hull Kingston Rovers have suspended Head Coach Harvey Howard from all duties with immediate effect.

The Board of Directors of the National League One club have invited Howard to discuss a number of allegations relating to his conduct and duties as Head Coach, which they claim he has not yet done.

"Consequently the Board have no option other than to suspend him pending a full investigation which it is hoped Harvey will co-operate with," said a statement issued by the club.

"The Board appreciate and understand that this is a critical stage of the season and will endeavour to resolve the situation as soon as practically possible.

"The players have resolved to ensure that their preparation for this weekends game is unaffected. To that end James Webster will temporarily take charge of team affairs in liaison with Phil Lowe – Director of Rugby.

"The Board will make no further comments until after the weekend and pending finalisation of the matter."

Anyone know anymore on that story? Poor Harvey :(

No, but last time anything like that happened, we got a new coach. As I've said before, Millward clearly hasn't had the desired effect on our performances, and he's had plenty of time.

Normally I'd say "I don't think he was being serious" but knowing Geoff online and general common sense makes me say...

He wasn't being serious!

Wasn't Geoff being serious? Two games is more than anyone else was ever given. I agree with him :tong1:

Thanks, Tom! If we don't win tonight, a usually reliable source has told my brother's Auntie's friend that there will be a rumour in the Wigan Evening Post about Monie coming back.
watch this space...

(on second thoughts, errr.....don't)
