next win
Re: next win
I accept what you're saying, but I don't think the furure is bad as you make out. Of the games we've lost, 6 have been by one score or less...with a bit more luck, and less injuries, we could easily have won all six, and be sitting 2nd on 26 points.

Re: next win
fair point but would 2nd place not give us a misguided impression of our over all ability. i think next year we could go top 4 easily and with a bit of luck with injuries and no lasting effect on hock and lockers maybe 3rd

I said "with a bit more luck, and less injuries", so here's a more detailed analysis:-
Wakefield away -
missing Carney, Dallas and Sculthorpe, yet Colborn was within inches of stopping Rooney's try. Lost by 2 points.
Bradford home -
15 points in front with 10 mins to go, until half the team got injured and we'd no fit bodies left to bring on. Lost by one.
Warrington away -
only missing Rads, (apart from Hock and O'Loughlin)so I'll claim a bit of luck for once...either Moran's pass doesn't get intercepted for Wood's try, or Dallas scores instead of being inches short. Lost by 6.
Huddersfield home -
lots of near things, but I'll just mention Tickle's missed conversion that would have given us the draw. Lost by 2.
London home -
2 dodgy london tries, but if Tickle had converted all his kicks, we'd have still won. Lost by 4.
Hull home -
decidedly dodgy Hull try in the corner, and Barnett probably wouldn't have scored their last if Carney hadn't been off injured. lost by 4.
Not saying we should have won them all, or even that we deserved to, but, as I said, "with a bit more luck, and less injuries"...
We're not as bad as our league position suggests, and it won't take as much as people seem to think to get us back "up where we belong".
IMO, of course!

Re: next win
you make some very good points but the fact is- we lost all of them matches so we just need to leave that in the past and keep on fighting untill the end of the season to keep us up. tbh i cant wait untill this season is over and next season comes

Re: next win
It was a chance that was taken though, we couldn't keep Terry O he even said on GMR he wasn't happy with Wigan in the last year of playing for them so he wouldn't hve stayed anyway. SeuSeu looked like a good prospect before the season started, a lot of people on here were looking forward to see him in Cherry and White. How did anyone at the club know that this season was going to turn out like this? He played betteron Fri night, maybe this is the start of something good from him.JJposted:
