Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Referee for Friday
He's not too bad actually for a young up & coming referee. I think touch judges don't help the ref enough but I see Tony Martin is on the line so he usually helps out the young refs.
Hope I'm not regretting that comment come 9.40pm

Re: Referee for Friday
There might be some good news around. The touch judges at London last weekend were extremely good - spotted foul play and alerted the referee straightaway and called forward passes.
They were J Cobb & G Jones.
I normally complain bitterly at touch judges so it's only right to give praise when it's due.

Am i right in saying he's a local lad?
Re: Referee for Friday
Threes one thing for sure he didn't have a bad influence on the game last night, that's something you cant say about most of the ref's out there.
He did hid job without being noticeable. Well done!

Did well for a new referee and I see our good friend Tony Martin or should I say Barry Chuckle, again missed or chose to miss a blatant forward pass in the build up to the first Cas try like he did against Leeds.
