The Yawnion Lift in a line out.

Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

The Yawnion Lift in a line out.

Post by Ron Doran »

Would this, or a version of this, be tolerated in RL?
If so, where can you envisage it being used?

Kick to the in goal area. Think of Pat grabbing the ball from 18 foot up in the air. Gardner has used players to get lift off a few times.

worth a try in preseason.

only trouble is if it goes wrong you have three men try to catch one ball and if the other guy gets it then he could go the length of the field!

Simply put, the only thing worth having from Union is the 5 point try
I'm a better fan than you
Because I don't "Boo"!!!

Yes I bloody know transfer fees do not count on the salary cap for those illiterates that need it explaining to them because they assume everyone is as thick as they are

Boring Doran strikes again!

No chance should this be tried, they do it in Union in a controlled state, the only time players jump for a ball in RL is in the in goal area, there's body's flying around everywhere, lifting would increase the risk and more balls would be dropped than caught.
Up The Mont!
