Gelling in limbo
Gelling in limbo
Cannot play for U19s, no overage players allowed anymore. Cannot go on loan / dual contract. has to play for Wigan and Wigan only. First team or nothing.

Re: Gelling in limbo
Why can he not go out on loan/dual contract?
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Because of his visa!josie andrews wrote:Why can he not go out on loan/dual contract?
Re: Gelling in limbo
Gelling is an overseas player, requires a visa etc. Wood does not. Very different rules.

Yeah was going to reply...even if he is overseas why can he not be dual registered or loaned. Overseas footballers can be loaned to other UK teams.Kittwazzer wrote:You've replied to a deleted post!cpwigan wrote:Gelling is an overseas player, requires a visa etc. Wood does not. Very different rules.

Re: Gelling in limbo
Yet Kylie Leuleui has been dual registered with Leeds/Hunslet so is available to play V Leigh this coming weekend. Ridiculous.
Re: Gelling in limbo
Well if he is dual reg doesn't that mean any player can be?No straw damn us wrote:Yet Kylie Leuleui has been dual registered with Leeds/Hunslet so is available to play V Leigh this coming weekend. Ridiculous.
Also doesn't this system imply we want to "dual reg" just about every player? I mean how is Harrison Hansen going to get any match practice after weeks on the sidelines if Wigan can't dual reg him somewhere?
