Good Friday Details Confirmed
Wigan Warriors can today confirm details of the highly anticipated derby encounter with local rivals St Helens with the match kicking off at 12.15pm on Good Friday (29th March) at the DW Stadium.
As part of a busy weekend of sport, Sky Sports have also confirmed that they will screen the game live ahead of the Humberside derby between Hull FC and Hull KR which kicks off at 2.45pm.
Warriors Marketing Director Simon Collinson commented:
"Wigan versus Saints derby matches are often referred to the biggest in the game and we are sure this will again attract a bumper crowd. As such we would urge everyone who wants to come to the game to get their ticket as soon as possible."
The last 3 Good Friday derbies have attracted sell-out crowds including a capacity 24,057 at the DW Stadium in 2011, whilst the home stands also sold out for St Helens visit to Wigan in September last year.
Tickets for this fixture start from £20 for adults and £31 for families, and are now on sale from the DW Stadium Ticket Office, online by [clicking here] and via the Ticket Hotline on 0871 66-33-552 .

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Looking at the Interactive Seating plan on eticketing, apart from Latu being present, there aren't many seats left in the Boston and the edges of the Latics stand it's going to top 22,000 quite easily I feel.

Look at that same page now, it looks like there's only around 30 or 40 left.
It'll be a cracking atmosphere, no doubt about it

Anybody using the E ticket web site scenario. Bear in mind, I do not know why BTW but you can look at the interactive maps and see tickets unavailable a days/day/hours before and they then appear available. I.E keep trying if you are looking for seats together in the 2 available stands. Numerous single seats dotted around BTW.

Mate of mine has 2 tickets for Southstand if anyone's interested.
