How come....
We were allowed to play at home yesterday when the latics are playing at home today. It seems a little strange to me. I'm just wondering.

Re: How come....
That's why we kicked off at 12.15
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: How come....
Is this related to this 24hr FA ruling?
Re: How come....
Don't think there's an actual ruling by the FA. They do have a rule that says the pitch must be of a certain standard, otherwise the club could be fined or have points deducted or something. Suppose if it had been throwing it down all week, it's possible we might not have played the game at all.platt-warrior wrote:Is this related to this 24hr FA ruling?

Wigan won, Latics won, pitch was fine, better than Everton or Sunderland today. No problem.

Josie I was thinking that about the 12.15 KO, but does that extra 2hrs make such a difference to the state of the pitch.

Re: How come....
Wasn't it our turn for the early start this year? Didn't the Hull game have the lunchtime kick off last year??
