Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Yeah, it's like that for a few of the young players I think cos whoever does the website doesn't update it on a regular basis.

I'll probably get a roasting for saying that as well

But, if you look on the U19's players, their statistics are on there :exc:

Hampshire reminds me of a young Danny McGuire BUT with a quality kicking game too. Wigan worked damn hard to get him to the club. Likewise George Williams.

We have in Powell / Williams / Hampshire 3 potentially excellent halfbacks to eventually replace Smithy and Greeny in 4 years?

I suppose the question is how do we get them ready to play for us in that time with no reserves and lower clubs reluctant to have half backs on DR as they aren't able to build a combination themselves that they can rely on through a whole season. Maybe come next season, loaning them long term to a semi-pro side and having them train with Wigan as much as possible still could be an option to maintain Williams and Hampshire's development.

They did indeed. Remember this.

The other lad was Jared Simpson, son of former Bradford player Roger. I believe he opted to sign for Huddersfield.
