Not sure that would be fair on the other animals at the zoo.

He should certainly be on the end of a pretty serious ban. What's his disciplinary record like (in terms of offences like this)?
He rarely gets found guilty of anything, his "previous good character" means nothing gets done if he gets before the RFL. I predict a "Sending off sufficient" decision when the disciplinary committee meet.

Ryan Bailey could miss out for Leeds Rhinos against Warrington Wolves

FOUR Super League players have been charged with committing offences during the Easter Bank Holiday programme of matches.

Travis Burns of Hull Kingston Rovers has been charged with making a Grade B high tackle in the 30th minute of the Super League Round 9 fixture against Hull FC on Good Friday.

Eorl Crabtree of Huddersfield Giants has been charged with making a Grade B dangerous throw in the 43rd minute of the Round 9 fixture at Salford City Reds on Good Friday.

Ryan Bailey of Leeds Rhinos has been charged with two offences during the Round 10 fixture at Catalan Dragons on Easter Monday: Grade C striking with hand, arm or shoulder in the 15th minute and Grade B striking with hand, arm or shoulder in the 48thminute.

Justin Carney of Castleford Tigers has been charged with making a Grade C dangerous throw in the 29th minute of the Round 10 fixture at St Helens.

Crabtree and Bailey (for the Grade C offence) have until 11.00am on Wednesday (April 3) to submit Early Guilty Pleas. Burns, Carney and Bailey (for the Grade B offence) will appear before the RFL Disciplinary Committee on Wednesday evening.

All four players were charged after the incidents were viewed by the RFL Match Review Panel, which also issued formal cautions to the following players: • Elliott Whitehead (Bradford Bulls) – dangerous throw v Leeds in the 71st minute (Round 9) • Chris Annakin (Wakefield Trinity Wildcats) – dangerous throw v Hull FC in the 47th minute (Round 10) • Justin Poore (Wakefield Trinity Wildcats) – dangerous throw v Hull FC in the 47th minute (Round 10).

Disgusted. He should have been charged at least with alleged, suspected, accused of, perhaps maybe attempted murder. He's obviously connected to some very serious people who can make non-existent camera evidence disappear!

Leeds Rhinos prop Ryan Bailey faces a five match ban

LEEDS RHINOS prop Ryan Bailey is facing a ban of up to five matches after being charged with two offences during the Super League champions’ 27-12 win over Catalan Dragons in Perpignan on Easter Monday.

Bailey was sent off by referee Ben Thaler eight minutes into the second half for striking Catalan half-back Thomas Bosc.

That has resulted in a grade B charge, which carries a suspension of one or two matches, and Bailey has also been charged by the Rugby Football League’s match review panel with a more serious grade C offence, for which he could be banned for up to three matches.

Meanwhile, Castleford’s Australian winger Justin Carney could be suspended for the second time in a month after he was charged with a grade C dangerous throw during his side’s 48-18 defeat at St Helens.

Carney, who joined the Tigers from Sydney Roosters in the winter, recently served a two-match ban after being found guilty of punching during his side’s 52-0 defeat at Hull on March 8.

Another Australian, Hull KR stand-off Travis Burns, could also be in trouble after being accused of a grade B high tackle in the derby clash.

Burns, who missed Monday’s club record 84-6 defeat by Wigan through injury, was forced to sit out the first four rounds of Super League in order to complete a 12-match ban carried over from his NRL career.

Huddersfield’s England prop Eorl Crabtree, who has been charged with a grade B dangerous throw in the Giants’ defeat at Salford on Friday, will also appear in front of the committee unless he submits a guilty plea and accepts a one-match ban.

So Bailey can submit an early guilty plea for the grade C offence?? How??

I assume it's the grade c he can cop an early plea for because that was the first offence. He is allowed to do this this because he plays for Leeds and consequently has never, ever, ever done anything wrong on a rugby pitch. Not even a little bit, not never, no how!
