away matches

After tonights game against Salford Wigan have six away matches,Hull Kr in cup,London away,Leeds at Etihad,Wakefield away,Widnes away,Warrington away,then two home matches,Castleford and Bradford.

It's like this every year for the pitch to be relaid :exc:
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I don't know if the pitch is relaid every year but they definitely give it time to 'recover' during sunnier times with a spell without games on it. That bloody football, always ruins our lovely playing surface by being on it all through the winter. We hand it back to them like a carpet in September, then its always a mess by the time we get it back in February. Its awful really, makes it harder for our guys to play until they leave off in May.

It does seem daft to me that when we finally have the Stadium all to ourselves, we just play a load of away matches!

But the pitch needs to be relaid....
