As you know Ive not been a fan of Ainscough and never rated him as a player. But I do have sympathy for what he's going through now. I wouldnt wish his situation on any player and it would be a shame if he had to quite rugby.
Get well soon jamie!!!
Ainscough
Re: Re: Ainscough
Maurice has said that they won't let Jamie go until his medical problems are sorted out (or he at least has a diagnosis).
Salford have already made an official bid for him, so it does look like he is on his way out regardless of the injury to his arm. Does anyone know why he has been pushed out now, rather than any other time?

In what way?AJ posted:
he has been treated very poorly by the club
end of story!
When hes not been injured he gets picked more often than not.
If this were Dallas we were talking about there would be a dozen posts saying we can't afford to keep players who are always injured!
How often has it been said in recent weeks that Dallas is a great winger but is now too injury prone so we should get rid at the end of the season?
Now Ainscough's days look numbered at the club due to injury, it seems, its a crime of some sort.
I feel very sorry for him if this arm injury is going to bring a premature end to his career. My gripe with him has always been based on the fact he took a slot intended for a centre and his apparent "couldn't give a toss" attitude at times.
That said I will be surprised if he ends up out of the side mid season. I didn't expect a new contract for him next term but I don't see the logic in getting rid of a winger now given the size of our squad.
