Who is giving the inspirational team talk and handing out the players shirts? Maybe Michael Maguire.

When you woke up every morning this week it's been on your mind.
You felt the buzz in training and an aura around you. You know it's coming and now it's here, today.
You're sitting here now at the point where in a few hours your dreams can come true or be brushed aside.
YOU have made it here today, but it's taken a lifetime for you to get here.
The Grand Final, the pinnacle of your career. Out there is a Champion side stopping you from reaching your dream.
When you arrive at Old Trafford they may let you touch the Trophy or even take pictures of it. But remember, it is not yours, you have to earn it.
Warrington are as desperate as you, as good as you. Remember, you have to earn it.
Try and not let emotion get the better of you. The big stage is your dream and for some of you this is your career, your moment.
When you run out later on look at your fans. They are the club as much as you. For many this day is their life and you are experiencing their dream.
You will run out to those Wigan fans in the famous Cherry and White, to simply wear that jersey should be enough.
You represent Wigan, the fans, your team mates and those who have gone before.
They talk about Boston, they mention Sullivan and talk about Hanley. That could be you but first you have to earn it.
Go out and play like you know you can, this is it.
In the build up think about your Sunday mornings at St Pats and your parents making sacrifices for you. You are lucky and tonight IS your night.
Write your names into history, earn it.

Or something.

Great team talk send it in :)
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I like the idea of 2 team talks, one to inspire like the excellent post further up, and another to each player and each group so they know exactly what is required of them. I was reading an article about a football manager who liked his men to be "angry", as that made them faster, stronger and more alert, but that had to be balanced against impaired decision making. His solution was to we instil the knowledge of the game plan that it became instinctive.
We have seen that Sam, Smith, Lockers and mac can all read a game and implement a plan in the biggest games. One more time, lads!

Just stick up a poster of Briers' fat ugly mug on the wall and ask the players if they could stand him winning the grand final and seeing his smug face?

That should do the trick.
Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you don’t!
If you like to win, but think you can’t,
It’s almost a cinch you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost;
For out in the world we find
Success begins with a fellow’s will;
It’s all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You’ve got to think high to rise,
You’ve got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man
But sooner or later the man who wins
Is the man who THINKS HE CAN.
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.
