Re: Scott Logan joining Wi...
For your information i havent made any imaginary teams for next year, i am just pleased we appear to be making progress as regards new signings. I agree witht the fact they have to prove themselves, but surely we can be excited at the players millward is attracting to the club.
Does it really matter what section of the NRL we are getting our players from? Roosters and Panthers arent exactly doing well this season, so i suppose we should not approach any of their players; i mean who'd want to see Adrian Morley in cherry and white? I am just against putting them down before you've even seen them play. Scott Logan has a good reputation, apart form the broken bones which of course werent his fault. Fletcher is the sort of experienced player we need. Richards is a big back, who is an accomplished kicker and who also has a good reputation from his club. And Feca has a huge reputation from his club, if you read what they said about him. He is one of the most exciting forwards in the game.
To be honest i wasn't really impressed when we signed Moran as he'd never stood out to me before, so he wasnt too much of a let down. DV came with a good reputation and to me he's done nothing wrong apart from the fact he isnt running the length of the field each match to score tries.

It's been confirmed on the officail web site,
Scott Logan has signed a 2 year deal,
He's 6'3" and just under 18 stone a bit of a monster eh?

Just read that Peacock and Deacon are looking to move on from Bradford. GB forward Bradford captain this is one we could really use and after all the threads regarding Orr at 6 Deacon would be a massive signing if these rumors are true. What is the situation with recruitment last i heard we had finished an unfinished job in my opinion.
Re: Scott Logan joining Wi...
Deacon is a Wigan lad, Moran could me moved to stand off and we would have a top class kicker in Deacon. Failing that I'm still confident Orr will be fine once he gets fit, most have given up on him but I havent.

Good on you and i am not being sarcastic i disagree with you over Orr but it is good to see someone standing up for what they belive in. Deacon would be a big signing and another kicker who would be a first choice player because tickle rightly or wrong doesnt look like starting with the new pack we have assembled.Deacon is being linked with Wires but who wouldnt want to play for there home town club its up to the board to see what moves are made in this direction.Too late now but i would rather see Peacock in our side than Fletcher based on age and overseas places, this doesnt mean that Fletcher wont do a good job for us but a simple matter of preference.
Re: Scott Logan joining Wi...
Other than his goalkicking, I don't rate Deacon that highly, and it looks as if we're OK for forwards now, so no place for Peacock.

GeoffN i have to agree with you there. I think the only thing Deacon is good for is his goal kicking, this is why he misses out for GB.
Leeds are apparantly interested in brown :conf:

They've got the 2 best stand-offs in the country! I doubt they'd be interested in Browny.mrs_carney posted:

Been told he is off to saints by a fan. They are miffed as they hate him.
Dont want Deacon as he doesnt take on the line enough like Moran. I'd rather not sign him just to kick.
