I see him used as a prop quite a bit - this is the way his career has been going and I would liken him to FlowerGod wrote: i can see Clubb being used as a centre.

More likely return to the Bronco's and sign Dixon than a player like Foster purely for his goal kickingWes wrote:I heard whispers of Foster, Dave.
I see Sarginson fitting into Richard's shirt and probably a player from one of the minnow's of the RL World Cup being picked up. It leads to fun guessing which Samoan/Tongan/Fijian etc we could be interested in

The best form of defence is attack!!

The same was being said prior to Richards taking on the job.God wrote:The clear lack of a kicker is what really concerns me, when we play Wane ball it usually ends up with Charnley in at the corner. Whos going to do the kicking, unless Wane pulls the rabbit out of the hat on this one the fans and the whole of Super League wait with baited breath!!
You never know, there might be a surprise again.
Re: Clubb & Sarginson
If you are a fringe/relatively new first team player then personally I would think like Botica did you would try to develop a skill such as place kicking in order to secure that place. The club could aid that as they did in the gang of 4 era by employing a Dave Aldred type. Aldred was snare by Union sadly.
The likes of Thornley, Gelling, the new left winger need to try to add place kicking to their armaroury.
Not quite relevant but Burke could place kick as a junior.

Sarginson was very good for England Knights yesterday. He played stand off and there were no signs of his so called defensive weakness. Excellent footwork, he could be a real bargain.
Re: Clubb & Sarginson
poor...considering we paid for Clubb, no better than we have on the fringes

How do you know?pedro wrote:poor...considering we paid for Clubb, no better than we have on the fringes
Weren't similar things said about Flower, Dudson, Taylor, Smith and Green?
Re: Clubb & Sarginson
not about Smith and Green and they came in as replacements and were the only players here who could play there with experience. The others were youngsters. How old is club? 4 years with a fee....hes 26 not a youngster and certanly no better than the likes of hughes. No straw damn us wrote:How do you know?pedro wrote:poor...considering we paid for Clubb, no better than we have on the fringes
