The Wigan walk!
We all know about the mythical "Wigan walk" when we are accused of leaving the ground early when we're losing, but we're no different to any other set of fans in that respect it's just that they've given our fans a name for it. Wouldn't it be great if Mr Lennagan made something of this and placed stars with ex-players names outside the ground (like the Hollywood Walk). It would be a great way of honouring some of our former greats and would be relatively inexpensive to create.

And it would allow us to capitalise on an assumed 'slight' in the same way we did by embracing the term 'Pie Eaters'! Great idea. I like it!The booze hound wrote:We all know about the mythical "Wigan walk" when we are accused of leaving the ground early when we're losing, but we're no different to any other set of fans in that respect it's just that they've given our fans a name for it. Why would it have to be restricted to rugby?Kaii wrote:Shared ground so not happening
Football could make even greater capital out of it. Apart from old legends such as Harry Lyon and Bert Llewellyn, stars could be placed for other Latics players who have gone on to greater things, Baines, Valencia etc!

Sad state of affairs when Latic's players like Harry Lyon and Bert Llewellyn are still remembered more in Wigan than any of the many mercenaries which have come and gone at the Latic's over the past few seasons.Kittwazzer wrote:Why would it have to be restricted to rugby?Kaii wrote:Shared ground so not happening
