Just confirmed on Sky Sports News that Logan is back with Wigan for 2015, with an option for a further year.

I like the kid and it will be nice to see him back.Just means more fighting for a place.Lets just hope that he's gained the experience needed that Waney said he needed from his time with the reds.

Good news, he's been playing well at Salford when he starts a game & not from the bench IMO
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Im not convinced - i think he needs at least a yard of pace to be effective. Either that or bulk up at the moment i feel like he is a little too small to be a mickey mac style hooker and not fast enough to be a burrow/clark style hooker.

He is a good player and i feel like he does belong in superleague but maybe not at the sharp end

What is not clear is what is a good hooker? surely its a player who is capable to hold down a position as a second row/LF ON HIS PHYSICALITY /SPEED /STRENGH, and do a good job as hooker. YOU cannot be just a specialist hooker ,its not enough added value for the specialism. Why Wigan did not try to convert Farrell to a no 9 is baffling. Too small to be a prop, too small and slow to be a second row,its no 9 or nothing. W e cannot afford such weak thinking. BESTS

More rubbish, every team in SL and the NRL have specialist hookers and with regards to turning Farrell into a hooker you cant make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

As random as it sounds some actually suggested LF going to hooker when he first broke into the team, i think they saw him as a KFC style hooker

if i was wane planning to keep tomkins id have him working with a sprint coach on his short distance speed. That would be my main focus I think the other elements of his game are pretty good
