So if the 'extended' World Cup only consists of three separate games, who will be crowned World Club Champions?

Far better to have the two Grand Finalists from each country playing in cross country Semi Finals ie, British Winner v Australian Runner Up and Australian Winner v British Runner.

The competition to be played on a alternative basis in both counties.

The champions will come from the match of Souths v Wigan/Saints (champs v champs).
The scenario you suggest could result in a runner up from either Super League or the NRL being world champions which wouldn't sit right with many people.

So if the winner comes from the two clubs you say is the case, what is the point of the other two games?

And if as say, under my suggestion of a competition of two from each country, the winner could be a runner up, I suggest, it is far better idea than two games which in effect are just there to make some money from attendances and have no real competition value.

If there is to be a extended competition then at lease have a proper one!

Do you not think the Warrington fans will take great enjoyment from playing an Ozy club on home turf regardless of not being champions?
All the players involved will benefit from pitting themselves against NRL teams too. For me it is a positive step.
Do you have a problem with the RFL or the clubs involved making profit? If they didn't generate revenue there wouldn't be any professional sport. The exposure our game will get from these matches will be of benefit for the whole of rugby league.

Will be interesting to see what level the ticket prices are set at so the clubs can try and recoup their £180k bond .

I'll be on the conservative side with the numbers;
20,000 tickets @ £18 = £360,000
+ TV revenue
+ merchandise sales
+ sponsorship
These sums make the £180k bond irrelevant
