Whatever happened to Billy McGinty's pineapple?

Where you going? Had a lot of rain in Antalya recently, with a few nice days here and there. Hopefully it'll be warmer when you get here.bonnieboy wrote:I will be enjoying the Turkish sun in four weeks.

Re: SALFORD
Getting away from Turkey for a minute, I honestly think we need at least one centre and a new half back, and both experienced!
For me Gelling should be showing a glimmer of hope for the future but doesn't and I can see why Saints flirted Matty Smith despite being light on half backs!
We may have been tired after Friday's battle but complete lack of savvy is another matter!?!

Re: SALFORD
didnt saints try and get smith back as he signed for Wigan, im sure that has been in one of smiths blogs recently
Salford offered him more money and the captaincy (although hollow offer as that was the year they went bust)
saints offered him more money
but he signed for wigan as he wanted to win trophys and hes a bit bitter saints dropped him.
this could all be PR rubbish though.
to be fair on Wigan i was at the game and we didnt look that bad, tired yes but Salfords defence was working overtime, and 3 of there players suffered game ending injuries due to it.
did anyone else notice the point about 5 minutes from the end were if Moose had just looked up instead of passing to the right we would have had another try, massive gap one defender moving the wrong direction to stop him the other to far to the right to present a threat (it was the point were the ball was being offloaded everywhere in a last minute panic bid

These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Re: SALFORD
Smith is so overrated, lockers and green made him look far better than he is. Williams at the minute is also offering nothing but I'm giving him some leeway as he's Young and inexperienced and kinda been dropped in the deep end by his coach. For a so called championship contending side our halves are not good enough

Re: SALFORD
Smith is trying to do way too much.with no creative stand off or loose forward its way too much responsibility.i thought wanes decision to drop Williams late last season had a bad effect on the lad.maybe the biggest problem is our stle of play because saints won the gf last year without a recognised half and have started pretty well this year with one at most
