Bateman Up Before The Beak
Possible 1-2 game ban for the first incident yesterday.

Re: Bateman Up Before The Beak
Pretty dumb behaviour and happening too often for a player who is far better than that.

Three Players Charged
Three players have been charged following the Easter Monday game between Wigan and Salford.
Weller Hauraki of Salford Red Devils and John Bateman of Wigan Warriors have both been charged with Grade B striking in the 79th minute of the same game.
Salford Red Devils player Josh Griffin has been charged with Grade A contrary behaviour towards Anthony Gelling in the 68th minute.
Anthony Gelling was also handed a formal caution for striking Josh Griffin in the 68th minute of the game.
John Bateman has until 11.00am on Wednesday (April 8) to submit an Early Guilty Plea.
Griffin and Hauraki do not have the option of submitting an Early Guilty Plea and will appear before an independent disciplinary tribunal on Wednesday evening.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Hauraki was an absolute arse throughout the game. He was obviously hoping to get a response and Bateman took his maggot.

It was only handbags though

What's strange is the proper fight they had only got yellow cards but the handbags later got reds.

How ludicrous is it that you could virtually commit murder playing on Good Friday but still be able to play on Easter Monday?
So amateur of our organisation.
They expect our players to play a ridiculous schedule over Easter but they can't be @rsed turning round a discipline panel within 24/48 hrs.
The Salford lad was carrying a grade C charge over his head going into this game effectively which carries a 2-3 game suspension.
Its laughable really.
