How do you know for definite that work is starting on the pitch immediately after the Castleford game?

Who says they're gonna re-lay the pitch anyway. They won't have a lot of money if they go down again.

Or is it the duty of the stadium company to have the pitch re-laid & not the Latics?
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

So does that one liner mean that pitch is being done straight after the cas game?

Why can't we play the game on the Friday, 15th? Surely a week won't make that much difference to the pitch

Think it was planned since before season Jos. if you look at our fixtures we are away end of May early June. One so the stewards at DW reckons we will play at Leigh. I would imagine we have a chance of TV coverage as it's two super league teams so that may determine date and time

Don't shoot the messenger Josie ???? that's why after the cas game we only play at home again on the 19th June so the pitch can be relaid I don't know if a week makes a difference or not.

Normally, I'd be delighted to get HKR but this season they're a much improved team mainly because of Albert Kelly. What's the odds that he will eventually turn out in a Wigan shirt and should we have snapped him up when he was available?
