I don't think we'll see Bateman play either next couple of games or so with that horrendous collision in closin stages

That was a horrible and nasty one

Waney's cleared John Bateman from injury on the Wigan web-site today. Phew!

I'd go with Joel, with Lockers back in. Hopefully like Gelling days it isn't too bad.
Charnley is/was injured
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Yeah his "out on the full" kick was marginal - did it hit the line? ( on the roof of the stands) :eusa18:
Whatever happened to Billy McGinty's pineapple?

Pity gildart is out on loan as he could get a rare chance at centre.i personally would leave Joel in the sr as he seems to get caught out hell of a lot in defence when playing centre.maybe give josh a go there but to be honest I'm not convinced he will ever be a centre.other option is Bateman who I think could be our best bet there in the present injury situation.i was also thinking if we could swap Hughes back for Patrick which wasn't the best bit of business

From what Gelling says it doesn't seem too bad.
Replacing him will depend on Lockers or Thornley returning.
If Charnley is fit then maybe he would go to centre. Although that's not a move I can see SW making.

Imagine that, a player who is not a regular kicker messing up a kick :eusa4:
