Blaming the ref for the defeat is just not right. Surely we all know that dont we?

No personal swipes, snipes or plain nastiness was meant by this message.

If I have offended anyone ever, I apologise unreservedly.

My original post after the result said we were awful, every credit to HKR but Silverwood got what he wanted, read into that what you will!!
That's why I posted what I did TBW. No way was that a knock on by Hampshire, the ball was heading backwards and down onto his leg before going forward.
Ball steals, knock-ons laying on in the tackle to delay PTB all went 50/50 their way most of the night, it was as though a script had been already pre written. Chesters interpretation of Silverwoods traits were better than Wanes and his players knew how to play the ref better than ours.
Another high tackle by Sarg cost us yet another 4 points, his dropped ball, well that can happen in any game, we were dumb.

His control of ruck was awful. He allowed them to lie on every time and hardly penalised them only for off sides. Whilst the numpties on Sky think this was ok when we play against any NRL side is it any wonder we never win domestically or international.

Need to go 2 refs NRL style. Silverwood was ok apart from that but controlling the speed of the game as he did last night killed us as much as we did our selfs.

Elderly always had his hands on the ball at the potbs He was always "mauling about" and got away with it those days.

disrupting the POTB. Ellery was the master at putting his hands on the ball as an opponent tried to play. Before Ellery, match officials were not even aware of it. Another Ellery trick was to smother his legs / shirt front in vaseline or whatever and use it to smother the ball before a kick off.

Exactly Gimble, the first 10 minutes should have resulted in at least 8 penalties for us!!
