Expect bad news

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

IL mentioned that a long time ago, he also suggested that 2015 would return the club to profit.
Did this return to profit expectation come with an expected decent CC run and PO success?
I dou8bt it. I think is smarter than that and would not assume he could count in either.

That said I am sure the exit from the CC hasn't done Wane's chance at keeping his job any good. It's the CC that can earn a club a lot of money. More than the playoffs by quite a bit if you get to the final.

It's to do with the way the money is divided up from gate receipts not the prize money.

This loss that IL covered from his own pocket. How does it compare to previous years transfer fee surpluses? The words "operating loss" have been used a lot when discussing this. I'm no accountant but I'm slightly suspicious that stuff like large one off transfer payments may not be included. Even if they are, I'd expect Joel and Sams transfer fees to be more than offset by he fees we received when they left?

I was told on Thursday that IL has had his deep pockets sewn up, but then I heard tonight his arms had been shortened, the plot thickens? Either way it doesn't beat the Greek crisis on the World front!!!!

We're leaving super league and becoming a kick and clap club to join the rugby union premiership.
I always knew that I liked this place, you don't have to look to far to find a friendly face, I feel alive when I'm walking on this street, I feel the heart of this city pounding underneath my feet, yeah if the world keeps spinning round and round this is were it all goes down, down, down, THAT'S WHY I LOVE THIS TOWN!.
