Expect bad news

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

Deacon has been offered a coaching position at Sale and may be leaving us. Some fans may not care but we cannot keep loosing good coaching staff like we are doing, we need stability.
Ps Sarginson not going to RU but to NRL I know the club but it is still to be kept a secret.
I'd been fearing something much worse than losing Deacon to Sale. As for Sarge going to the NRL, good luck to him, but he is nothing more than potential that is massively unfulfilled. Wigan are not improving him, if anything he seems to have gone backwards on last years performances.

TBF, he is probably banging his head against a brick wall.
Good luck to him, it's a career at the end of the day.
This is why bad apples need removing from barrels asap.
He'll probably be happier working on his own, but you never know, IH coming back?

its never good to lose anyone to Union, got to question is it due to him not believing hes getting anywhere with the Wigan staff.

is this also a sign that O'loughlin is joining the coaching staff next season?

i really hope we get someone who can stand up to Wane.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Be sorry to see Deacs go if he does but can maybe understand it and have to agree with the boose hound about Sarge, he puts the fear of God in me everytime he gets the ball these days, especially if it is in front of our sticks. Not sure he's NRL material but we'll have to see - if he does go can we please get a decent couple of centres as our biking friend would do much better as a forward. Must say it does irritate me that Wigan lose players with such regular monotony when you look around and see our rivals keeping their best players year in year out
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Could not agree more.

Leeds just signed Hardaker on a new contract and brought in an NRL forward. We on the other hand seemed to have stopped with the signing of Sam T.

Also a turnstyle in defence.

Give me Thornley running the ball out every single day of the week.

So that's an all new left edge next season unless Charnley goes down that side ....the retention of players at Wigan is diabolical.
Can you blame them? I'd be surprised if more don't leave.

Well under this "Regime" only MM, Manfredi, Farell and Tomkins are truly happy!!
Feel sorry for Bowen, what a way to end a career like his.
Even so, he still shows up like he wants it.

Be he wishes he'd saved a few more dollars, maybe bought a couple of rental properties.
Having to endure this to top up his pension :conf:
