who actually picks the motm ? i noticed that as soon as the second half kicked off bateman was mentioned regular which suggested to me that if wigan won then he was the choice. i thought matty bowen played a blinder and deserved motm.

Sponsors usually pick the mom.

Think Bateman was a good call though, just because of the way he played in what is an unfamiliar role for him. One or two glitches but overall he had a very good game.

Sky do the their own as do the sponsors.

So you get 2 mom which is rather confusing.

I have picked motm and wasn't restricted. Some bloke came along to the sponsors area and asked who we'd picked.
