What's wrong with some of you. We have three good wingers and granted Burgess and Manfredi warrant the two positions at the moment, especially as one plays on the right and the other on the left.

Next season Burgess will be gone and Charnley and Manfredi will be the first choice wingers.
No he won't, we are swapping him for Hurrell

I don't see the problem with Cp's post?

Charnley used to be amazing on the wing for us and was Super League top scorer two years running in 2012 and 2013.

This year he has been unlucky with injuries, unlucky in the sense that Manfredi hit the ground running but he also hasn't regained any form at all.

Josh used to look capable of scoring a try from anywhere on the pitch, beating men on the outside with his pace etc. He now only looks like he could finish in the 10m zone and is moulding into a similar build to Hall and Carney.

He looks like he has lost so much pace, just hope he can regain some of his pace and form. I wouldn't want two Wigan wingers who score 95% of their tries in the 10m area.

It is quite amusing how somebody can attack posters but conveniently ignores that the coach has publicly criticised Josh and done likewise by dropping him.

Exactly, he has not played as well since he has come back from injury, but it does not mean that he has no commitment to the club and a business interest is the cause of it as being put about on the social media like Twitter.

So what is the problem with saying he used to be top quality winger but currently isn't? I read the currently isn't to include reasons such as: injury, form, attitude, confidence etc...

Have you considered who was his centre during those try scoring years? It was Darrell Goulding. They worked so well together. This season we have had Tomkins and Bateman inside of Josh. Although fantastic players neither are recognised centres. Plus Josh had an injury. Plus Wane seems to think it is ok to discipline Josh for the world to see. Is it any wonder his game has suffered. However, in recent times he was recovering. Hopefully next season (if he signs his contract) he will be more settled and we can seen the old Josh shine

Hope so Debs, remember him at Chorley Panthers.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Surely its possible Josh is a bit worn out after about 7 years hard rugby league ,in recent years being asked to do a lot of taking the ball up into heavy traffic,?Hansen is fading fast, and Goulding was before his early retirement. Its only this season we have got the props up to average size ,so everyone else must have had to some heavy lifting.?

Sarginson was doing a lot of the early set carries for most of the season. Him and Josh have taken a lot of the work load off the props to enable them go in with three man tackles and slow down the ptb.
All Waney's tactics, like all things they have their advantages and disadvantages.
