Wigan Warriors fans who are tempted to buy tickets for this Saturday’s sold out Grand Final at Old Trafford have been warned by the RFL not to do so to avoid being left out of pocket and locked out of the game.
Re-selling tickets is against the terms and conditions of sale, printed on the reverse of the ticket (section 6). Failure to do so will result in the barcodes on the tickets being cancelled and no admittance into the stadium on matchday.

eBay Warning
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: eBay Warning
Some of the sellers have specified the seat row and seat numbers - 2 x £40 tickets have just gone for £206. I'll have a look next week if there were any probs with them
Others have shown photo's of the actual tickets so they can be traced that way as well. Two on there with a couple of hours to go are up to £310 - that may or may not be because the seller is saying anything over face value will go to the Steve Prescott fund so let's hope they're telling the truth!

Re: eBay Warning
This is stupid if someone's plans change or their team doesn't make it, why shouldn't they be able to sell them. Otherwise the seats are left empty, not sure I agree with someone making loads of profit though

Re: eBay Warning
Tickets have often been re-sold for genuine reasons as mentioned here, rarely at anything but face value. Touting will take place but it will be minimal.
Re: eBay Warning
Officual reselling markets are available at many sporting and other events. I don't particularly agree with it but why not this one?
Re: eBay Warning
Selling at face value, possibly with a fee to cover admin and postage is fine.
Selling at a substantial profit is damaging for proper fans, in both sport and for music events.

Had 2 daughters fall ill on morning of game and couldn't travel.
Just sold both tickets on at face value one hour before KO.
One was a Warrior, the other a Latic.
