Last Nights attendance

Post by the pieman »

Is it just me or did the 14,000 ish seem a little low

I would have said around 16,000 based on what I can see from the east stand

The North stand around 3k, south around 5k, east 6k and west 2k

Just an opinion but are they cooking the books for some unknown reason

I'd say it looked about right...there were plenty spaces in the South, so that 5k looks too high, as does the North, which was only half full. Couldn't tell in the East, cos that's where I am, but North 2.5k, South 4.5k, East 5k, West 2k looked closer to me.

I don't think they can. The electronic turnstiles make things like that difficult, especially as it affects fire safety as well as the returns to the taxman. Plus RL clubs seem make such a big thing out of average attendances these days so they'd be going for as high as number as possible rather than a low number.

I think the number was higher, it felt fuller and even the players said 14,000??? The noise coming from the seats sounded like a full house to them so well done everyone for all the shouting/cheering and drumming. It Did work!!!!!!
