What is he renowned for? He is simply not good enough, he has never been good enough and never will be. I am more likely to take on the line than him and I am sat in the stands! His only move is dropping an inside pass to a forward. Agree with "GOD" in that we haven't had a move in us since Harris left.
We were predictable and Widnes sussed us out.
As poor as that display was it was still three tries each with Widnes kicking goals and us not.

Smith is the worst 7 we have had for a long time, kicking game is poor, passing even worse and defensively woeful.To play him at 9 would be a huge mistake and must find a scrum half from somewhere immediately or we will win nothing.

We have got two Scrum Halves in Williams and another in Powell who Wane regards as a Hooker. Smith was poor but perhaps some of that was down to the fact he was our only on field kicker.
Widnes knew that before the game and part of their game plan was to pressure him and shut him down which they did.
Hopefully v Saints we will have a 2nd and hopefully 3rd field kicker so we are not as predictable as we always are.
Go into that game with Smith as our only kicker and we'll asking for the same sort of trouble we got v Widnes.
