Re: Carney GB Vice Captain
Ireland is part of Great Britain isn't it? I thought it was the United Kingdom which it wasn't a part of?
Re: Carney GB Vice Captain
The British Isles is England, Ireland (NI and ROI), Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isle of Lewis, Isle of Skye, etc... Basically all the isles that surround the British Mainland (doesn't seem that rediculous to me Doug).
Great Britain is the 'greatest' (size wise) part of the British Isles, i.e. the mainland of England, Scotland and Wales.
The United Kingdom is Great Britain plus Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.

As far as i am aware Republic has its own Laws,EU currency, passport, drivin license and parliment that has very little to do with Westminster and the UK.Seperate country and different to GB so Irish should be added by the media.
