Re: Disciplinary?
It will be interesting to see the 19 man squad announced for Fridays match at Salford. If any of the three players rumoured to have been involved in the 2 incidents are missing the club will need to put out a statement.
Re: Disciplinary?
The club isn't handling it well, letting all these rumours spread around the country. They should have opened up and said it is being handled internally and the players concerned will be disciplined accordingly.thegimble wrote:Sorry but where you work would you like to tell us all when you get a disciplinary. The silence of the club again is frustrating.

Re: Disciplinary?
The players stated in the original post, that has been deleted, were involved one of which needed stitches. In a separate incident another 2 Wigan to players where involved in another 'scrap'. Bad week for our great club.

That's a big if though.

These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

This is a very sensitive subject. To avoid any potential legal issues, please refrain from making specific allegations about specific individuals due to legal issues.
This is just a general reminder and had not been prompted by anything specific.
Thanks.

Where I work they would probably make a short statement to stop any incorrect rumour mongering rather than saying nothing.Ithegimble wrote:Sorry but where you work would you like to tell us all when you get a disciplinary. I currently have a colleague going through a very similar scenario where a simple statement has been made about his incident. The place where I work is probably subject to more security issues than WWRLFC, yet they are still prepared to issue a statement.
Is this subject of confidentiality, some of the newspapers and radio stations don't seem to agree with you on that.

And have another disciplinary for breaking confidentiality policyPanchitta Marra wrote:Where I work they would probably make a short statementt to stop any incorrect rumour mongering rather than saying nothing.thegimble wrote:Sorry but where you work would you like to tell us all when you get a disciplinary. Re: Disciplinary?
If something happened what on earth could the club say - "we confirm there was an incident and we are investigating..."
Would that stop rumours or add to them?
However if there wasn't an incident then they could say there wasn't. But then theyd have to every time someone started a semi plausible rumour because of they didn't we'd all assume it was true.
It's a tricky situation communication wise.

The media are doing a job of saying that WWRLFC are currently taking disciplinary action against a club player.Mike wrote:If something happened what on earth could the club say - "we confirm there was an incident and we are investigating..."

Do the club state this is lies, agree that such action is taking place or just say nothing.
