I didn't realise that ddtftf had posted a rumour about Johnstone, could you please direct me to it?
Just making a comment that after playing a team who have a good winger which we will need next season, a name is mentioned. After the Wakefield game it was Johnstone and now after the Castleford game it is Solomona.
Instead of having a go at me on what I said, what is your opinion, Johnstone, Solomona or even someone else?
Poor WW. Always someone having a go at him! Or is it a discussion?
Your post was nothing about people's opinions but now you ask, I'd rather have Solomon's. I like his attitude, he was right in the face of Sam all night. He's got confidence and ability, a good combination. My fear is that were not the club to buy him anymore. He'll probably be of to Catalans or Salford to anonymity.
He would be a good replacement for Josh.
Certainly knows the way to the try line and has a certain attitude towards being compeitive which may endear him to our coach.
If he does sign for us then it will be for a very substantial fee. That should end the opinions on IL that he has deep pockets and short arms, which IMO has never been the case.
We've paid out fees to sign quite a number of our first 17.
Maybe that is the real reason Powell kicked off good style last Thursday. He got Solomona from London, has improved him beyond recognition, then up walk Wigan with their cheque book and he is going at the end of the season.
As for ddtftf, I trust his postings when he says a player is on Wigan's radar or we've signed him. Get's most if not all right and is a poster I look out for.

Not if Tommy is played at hooker and helps with attacking coaching.
On what basis will he be a good attacking coach?
I hate it how everyone assumes an ex player will become a great coach.
Tommy L is a great athlete, a fantastic 9 but not the best 7. Is his attacking knowledge and understanding not limited by his inability to be a great 7?
Why will he be a good attacking coach but can't play 7 even in super league ?

Wasn't Tommy involved in the coaching for last season's Super 8s?
