I bet that Joe's contract next season is better than the one he was offered before he left for the Roosters, so if I was him I would consider the move to be a success. A bit of tutelage under Madge should do him good.

I think its good budgie is on his way back, but its another signing that lacks that certain excitement that we used to get when we recruited a top-notch international. We've missed that anticipation for the last five or so years. It's all very pragmatic, but perhaps not particularly inspiring.

Have to agree with you,it was almost expected he'd come back at some point surely just a bit quicker than perhaps he would have hoped.
