The green eyed monster is a difficult beast to control when it runs riot!No doubt if we beat hull in a fortnight it will be out again cos Lockers should have been hung for that tackle!!

Clever work by SOL and the club . Plead guilty in front of the panel and get your good record taken into consideration . Take the EGP and get 2 games. £300 for a starting place against Saints pretty cheap IMO.
Could have backfired tho'. Other clubs going mental because they didn't think of it lol .

The Leeds fans moaning about this have short memories.
Sinfield was red-carded for a head-butt against Cas, but only got two matches as a ban. His red was 8 minutes from time. Had it have been the first half, he might have only got one match as well.
That was his only red card of his career, so his record was quite rightly taken into account, as was O'Loughlin's.

Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

Approximately 16000 tackles over a 15 year career & 1 careless one & this is his only red card!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Any anger people have is being entirely misdirected. They're blaming some sort of bias rather than a system that doesn't carry severe sentences. Under the system as it is a 1 game ban was the fair outcome. If it was a Wakey player who did that tackle the whole sport wouldn't still be talking about it today.

Come on now Josie, Lockers does has a justified reputation for high tackles. Just never managed to catch someone as clean as he did on Friday beforejosie andrews wrote:Approximately 16000 tackles over a 15 year career & 1 careless one & this is his only red card!

Re: Lockers Grade C charge
Hull fans are goin mad on Twitter ????
Which team did a crusher tackle on Tony Clubb?? His season is moreorless over after having an operation on his neck! No one got sent off or banned for that!
-----------
There are also plenty of Tweets regarding the consistency of RFL disciplinary charges for Grade C offences
This by @Rod_Studd
When Justin Carney pleaded guilty to his FIFTH dangerous throw offence, his ban was two games! The same as when he pleaded guilty to his FIRST!!!
------------
Tony Gigot pleads guilty to Grade C Dangerous Throw. Downgraded to Grade B - 1 match ban £300 fine
------------
Ryan Atkins received only a ONE match ban for a Grade C offence because of his exemplary disciplinary record
------------
There are loads of examples of similar charges.

Re: Lockers Grade C charge
Goes without saying what Lockers worth is in any game. The tackle at any speed, viewed by anyone, judged by the powers that be....blah,blah.Yes it was a high tackle.IMO,being sent off on the day is punishment enough for the player. Its a game built on being rough n tough.
I have always pondered over a ban from a slightly left field angle.
How does banning Lockers benefit anyone but the next team The Warriors play or teams. Wakefield dont get any real benefit once the whistle has blown at the end of ther challenge. Why should the next team be handed an advantage.
Anyway,i beleive in fairplay and hope the Mower doesnt get damaged when it finds some teeth.

I think our reaction to the referee decisions on Friday at the ground certainly made for a better atmosphere than we probably would have had.TrueBlueWarrior wrote:Does anyone think that Child's ineptitude might have helped his case!!![]()
