Leigh swoop for Jarryd Hayne?

Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Your heading "Payne"????

Merged with the thread already covering this topic :)

The guy's a fool, why has he chosen Gold Coast over Leigh?

If Leigh tried to get him , good for them.I wonder if Wigan even thought about it ? Would have created a bit of interest for end of season games.

Well he was playing and staying with his ex Parra team mates so most thought it would have happened

Seriously though with Hayne at Gold Coast what now for Sarginson?

The their CEO was talking they have plenty of wiggle room wages wise,so Sarge's move will still go ahead as to what they do with him when he gets over there who knows?

As for hayne i wonder if he will be the same player he was before he sought his fortune on the yellow brick road to america? if im honest i have my doubts.

Behave, he might be tempted to stay!

Gold Coast signed Hayne in the full knowledge they already have Sarginson signed up on contract, and therefore he's on their salary cap for next season regardless.

Perhaps it's worth noting that sometimes the coaches and CEO's of these NRL clubs may know a bit more than some remote forum fans and actually see something in the kid that we don't ?

As it happens, the Titans have already off loaded a couple of their first team squad from the salary cap for next season.
