Ref had a good game. Pinged both sides for slow ruck speed,offside etc. Hardly noticed him which is the best complement you can give a ref. Granted,it was made easier for him with Wakey giving up and Wigan declaring at 60 but a promising start. Wish him well.

Don't know who's doing the training of young refs but they're doing a good job. Young refs are showing up the old guard this season.

I agree, the younger new referees are excellent compared to the more experienced ones. Let's hope it continues & they don't decline the more games they get as the older ones have!

But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
