I fully expect Lockers to retire this year, i think he would be a bit daft if he didn't. him and Smith off the cap leaves plenty of space for a kicker. Problem i can't see past though is where will the goal kicker play if indeed we are actively looking for one?
Any names mentioned that you can disclose Cherry.
Brough
Yeah that was what i heard. It's not inside info or anything like that so i take it with a pinch of salt but we might not even be using Tommy for the Halves, he could be going to interchange hooker, we could sign a half and then use Powell as back up half. I don't know, we have put ourselves in a situation but i think we do need a specialist half with kicking abilities to if anything break up the play a bit. But Brough would make sense for a year, He might be a little twerp but he can certainly kick.

If we are to lose Lockers and Smithy then we can afford to invest in a player for the future, my choice would be Luke Gale. Cas are always desperate for money so they will sell at the right price. By the way he can bring Powell with him.

He has just signed a nice new 5 year contract and loves playing for Cas, why would he want to play for Wigan?, just because we where once the biggest club in the game doesn't mean that every player wants to play for us

I remember watching Paul Sculthorpe going too far and missing a lot more than he played and his impact lessening - seeing the same thing with lockers

hope he doesn't end up tarnishing a very good career

So did Clarke but he moved to Warrington. I accept your other point though.

Brough isn't the slowest of half backs both physically and play thinking.
