The parallel between us and Saints?

From what I can gather Saints fans, have, like us, been decrying the dull footy served up by KFC all season, calls for him to go, etc, much like the criticism of Shaun Wane.

Now, it seems, they 'have a few bodies back', like Lomax, and at least, as we approach the business end of the season, are showing a bit of form, although the praise heaped on them by Sky (as usual) is well OTT.

Which begs the question, why haven't we shown a parallel improvement? I don't know the answer, but I do think that the wily Wane's plan to send in Agent Smith under deep cover is a master-stroke that may yet bear fruit.
