Just walk away.
Re: our most successful coach of the Super League era
The point of the post was to just give some credit to wane, he deserves it. But unfortunately some peoples ego's won't allow them too.
You can argue he inherited this or that. He should have won more even, but as it stands he has currently won the most trophies for the club all of us and his good self support since the SL began.
It deserves respect!
And here's to a few more

Adam it was a stupid way to try to give somebody credit. Just make a post but trying to contrive stats is silly.AdamMac wrote:The point of the post was to just give some credit to wane, he deserves it. But unfortunately some peoples ego's won't allow them too.

Well I disagree and its certainly not stupid. You might disagree with it, that's your opinion.cpwigan wrote:Adam it was a stupid way to try to give somebody credit. Wane has overseen our most successful period in SL to date. No doubt he will go on to win more trophies for us. But yet you've hardly given him a jot of credit, ita sad.
You may not agree with his style/tactics or even his way with the media, bur ultimately he's proven you wrong. Be a man and suck it up.

My post were there with praise. I am sorry but if you want to give Wabe credit fine, not a problem but you are using stats incorrectly and like a baby. It makes you look stupid.

The irony is Dave that he should be, we should now be referring to our fourth GF win in a row, a top coach would have delivered the trophy against both Saints and Leeds.DaveO wrote:I was playing devil's advocate. Adam's stat is very selective and pretty meaningless. McDermott is the most successful SL coach by some distance and even Noble has one more GF win to his name when at Bradford than Wane. Good grief even Millward has an overall better record with 2 GF's and 2 CC wins. Saying Wane is our most successful SL era coach unfortunately isn't as impressive a stat as it should be. It's a bit like saying Radford is Hull's!thegimble wrote:How successful were we when changing coaches every 12-15 months from 1999-2004. Unfortunate with Gregory think we would have gone on to good things with him. Even after that we changed and never made a final.DaveO wrote:If stats matter then who is the most successful team in the SL era?
Isn't it Leeds? If so I am pretty sure they have had a higher turnover of coaches than we have so surely the only conclusion is we should have had a higher turnover of coaches
Leeds changed coaches yes but not that often. What did not change much with the core of the side.
