Great news, & I wish them every success ????????
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

As widdenoldboy knows from past discussions, my son plays for them.

Great News, but Swindon is not in the South West. Would love to go and watch a game but from Plymouth it is 160 miles to Swindon, and more than half way to Wigan.
We do have one or two teams here in the South West though.
Good luck Swindon.

Had the pleasure of attending their pre-season training last week. 20+ guys training to get in their 2nd team with 3 months to go before first competative fixture. Very impressed with Coaching and Administration as well.

There are discussions to get the South West and WoE (Swindon, Reading etc) teams playing in an expanded league. I'm secretary for the Gloucestershire Warriors RL so very keen to see this work.
