Warriors to host FREE Good Friday After Party

Radio XS presenter Clint Boon of the Inspiral Carpets, to DJ post-match set

Party takes place around giant wigwam in South East corner of the ground with bar available and Castleford v Wakefield on Big Screen

Wigan Warriors are today delighted to confirm details of The Official Good Friday After Party outside the DW Stadium.

Following the conclusion of Friday’s game, fans are invited to enjoy the rest of the day by joining The Official After Party outside the South-East corner of the ground.

The After Party will be held around a giant wigwam featuring a fully licensed bar with free mocktails, food stalls and the Castleford vs Wakefield Super League clash live on the jumbo screen. Hosting the party will be legendary Radio XS DJ and Inspiral Carpets musician Clint Boon who will keep the party going with an action packed indie set on the decks.

The party will be FREE of charge to all Season and Match ticket holders on a first come first served basis as they leave the ground after the game, although there will be a limited capacity at the bar.

Simon Collinson, Marketing Director at the Warriors said: “We’re delighted to stage our After Party and add another element to what will already be a huge day of entertainment both on and off the field.

“The last time we held an After Party – at a Big One a few years ago – it proved really popular, and with the early kickoff for the Good Friday game we wanted to give fans the chance to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy some great music, a few beers and watch the Castleford v Wakefield game too.”

The Official Good Friday After Party adds to what already promises to be a stellar afternoon of entertainment with Oaces, The K’s and the 188BET Fan Zone all present at the biggest Derby in Rugby League.

Went to South Nightclub for one of Clint's Saturday nights last summer. Was simply awesome. Would love to go to this but will be in France. Just make sure he has plenty Red Stripe.
