"Amazin" Grace

Post by SJ »

Not seen this lad before He certainly announced himself to the Wigan faithful in fine style. The way he sliced thro' our team was a joy paradoxically to behold. Worth the entrance fee on its own. Well done to the lad. Good to see. :)

He had a very good game and their real danger man.
It will also have served as a real learning curve too.
After scoring an excellent try he dropped the ball from the kick off and Wigan scored a converted try from the set.
We'll be seeing a lot more of this lad in the next number of years.

One of the players that KFC wouldn't allow to play

Very much like a young Billy Whizz or even Hanley when he was in the wing.
Above comment is aimed more towards the elusive nature and sheer pace he has off the mark.

Saw him last season with the young uns and he stood out then looked very much at home in a very pedestrian saints side

He's more like a young Sam Tomkins to me.

With his build I agree SEFC, I think he has more pace and better step off the mark than Sam has had.
If he remains on the wing I think his talent will be wasted as teams now know his ability and will man up on him with kicks etc.
I don't expect he will get as much freedom next time we play Sintelins as he did on Friday.
