Have YOU looked at his policies? I bet you have not.Wintergreen wrote:Does anyone thinking of voting Labour honestly think that Corbyn is PM.
Have they looked at his "policies"?
Geniuinely I am interested in hearing why anyone would even consider him being suitable for leadership of this country.
Apologies, it wasn't meant to be an insult (hence the smiley face). Difficult to get the tone across sometimes.josie andrews wrote:If niggly insults carry on this will be another thread locked!

Yes I have looked at them. All very interesting but where is the money going to come from? Magic wand?DaveO wrote:Have YOU looked at his policies? I bet you have not.Wintergreen wrote:Does anyone thinking of voting Labour honestly think that Corbyn is PM.

On the other hand we have a record of a Tory government to look at as in what they have actually done.
And it is rubbish. How much have they borrowed? More than ALL the past Labour governments combined. It's a fact you can check out, don't take my word for it.
Have they reduced ESA for disabled people? Well yes they have!
Have they put students/graduates up to their eye balls in debt? Of course!
Have they spent millions on Lansley's NHS reforms they promised not to implement? Of course!
I could go on all night. Grammar schools? A majority of Tory MP's don't even like that.
Did they break the law in the last election? Well IMO, of course.
Why do you want to vote for this corrupt shower of you know what?
I have no idea what your personal situation is, but unless you are in the top 1% of earners in this country you would be a fool to vote Tory. And just for the record I am a lot closer to that 1% than most people in this country and I am still voting Labour because I can see beyond the end of my own personal situation.
You will see that with all parties they have a core that will vote for a party just because they think they should rather than for policies.Wormburner wrote:The Majority of Labour fanatics, only vote Liebour because thats how the family voted, talk about being mindless sheepWandering Warrior wrote:I don't think that it's the hardline Tory voters that vote them in. When I was a lad and doing Engineering qualifications, one lecturer stated that 75% of folk are numpties and at the level we were at college we should consider ourselves to be rather privileged.
It was a good few years later I realised that what he stated was indeed bang on after initially thinking he was a bit of a plank for saying it.

Yes but who was running a budget deficit in the economic boom years that preceded 2008?fozzieskem wrote:Labour mismanagement?
The world banking system collapsed didnt it? i suspect that had something to do with mess they left behind, look at history the Tories are far from perfect in regards to the econemy.
No government books are ever balanced,to use the insiped tory term that you use the Tories never came close to balancing the books as Brown did,the house of sand that the boom was built on was for me started back in the 80s with the Tory policies put in place then.Wintergreen wrote:Yes but who was running a budget deficit in the economic boom years that preceded 2008?fozzieskem wrote:Labour mismanagement?

In laymans terms they didn't fix the roof when the sun was shining and when it rained they (we) got wet.
